Southwestern Energy Production Foreman in Morgantown, West Virginia

Southwestern Energy is hiring a Production Foreman for our Wheeling, West Virginia office.

The Production Foreman is responsible for the operation and maintenance of producing wells or saltwater disposal. They will supervise assigned field and contract personnel and will oversee the Production operations and personnel providing flowback, lift or swabbing services.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Carry out duties in accordance with SWN Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, as well as, regulatory requirements.

  • Work closely with counterpart responsible for the other producing assets to ensure consistency, efficiency and team work.

  • Continuously work toward maximizing benefits of gas well dewatering, water measurement, and solids controls systems and procedures.

  • Ensure contractors assigned personnel adhere to HSE policies and procedures

  • Implement training and mentoring of existing and new employees.

  • Plan and coordinate future operational events and communicate the plans and results to Superintendent.

  • Work with Production Engineer and Supervisor on well enhancement, and optimization of wells

  • Strive to operate all wells or facilities at optimum efficiency.

  • Manage operating expenses for the area and continually look for cost savings methods to implement.

  • Seek and implement new and innovative production enhancement opportunities.

  • Work with construction, drilling and completion personnel in the planning of activities, timing of simultaneous operations, obtaining new facilities and the maintaining of existing infrastructure.

  • Oversee new well pad TIL and flowback operations

    Your Background Includes:

  • High school diploma or GED .

  • 5+ years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.

  • A valid driver's license.

  • Excellent team work, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Problem Solving abilities

  • Ability to work with various software programs including Microsoft Office products.

  • Occasionally Lift / Carry weights to 50 lbs

  • Occasionally Push / Pull weights to 50 lbs

  • Squatting / Bending / Kneeling / Stair climbing / Reaching / Twisting

  • Stand / Walk for intermittent periods

  • Sit for extended periods

  • Ability to drive long distances in remote areas

  • Work in all types of weather and occasional long hours

  • People Skills/Dealing with people

  • Be able to handle stressful situations
