Southwestern Energy Equipment Operator - Morgantown, WV in Morgantown, West Virginia
Southwestern Energy is hiring Equipment Operators for our West Virginia area operations.
As an Equipment Operator you are responsible for operating and maintaining hydraulic fracturing equipment, troubleshooting equipment, rigging up and rigging down pump trucks with iron and hoses.
To be successful in this role you will:
Carry out duties in accordance with SWS Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, as well as, regulatory requirements.
Perform duties in accordance with SWS Best Practices, Operational Policies & Procedures
Be able to work in a team environment and understand their role as a member of the team
Demonstrate the willingness and ability to learn the job duties of an Equipment Operator
Have good verbal and written communication skills.
Conduct limited repairs and maintenance on fracturing equipment with supervision.
Work diligently toward the achievement of team goals
Operate acid equipment, sand equipment, blender, and chemical equipment when necessary
Perform basic rig-up operations, including connecting hoses and iron
Completes other duties as assigned by the SWS leadership team.
Your Background Includes:
Minimum of two (2) years Fracturing/Stimulation experience with a service company or oilfield operating company.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Some mechanical ability preferred
A Clean driving record
Basic written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours, weekends and holidays
Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions: (hot, cold, dust, dirt, noise, etc.)
Working out-of-doors, where exposure to atmospheric conditions of extreme heat or cold, fumes, and gases are frequent. Exposure to noise, vibration, high pressure, moving/mechanical parts, electrical shock, chemical and caustic materials is common in the normal performance of the duties associated with this position
The ability to push, lift, pull or carry equipment of up to 100 lbs
Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
To be on call 24 hours a day when needed
You will be required to pass all pre-employment requirements including a physical demands, vision, and drug-screening test along with a thorough background and driving record check
